5 Element Series 2019

5 - 5'x5' paintings each representing an element in Chinese medicine and Feng Shui, utilizing specific colors and forms as a remedy to imbalance (or “dis-ease”). When presented in harmonic elemental alignment these paintings have relationships which nourish each other and their environment. Positioned with respect to their elemental attributes and with each wall behind them painted a full unique color on an appropriate spectrum, they can transform a space into an illuminating perfectly-balanced environment exemplifying, experientially, the clarifying possibilities of ancient medicine and art.
